Accent lighting
In addition to provide atmosphere, accent lighting is also used to highlight the architectural features and interesting elements of the decoration (e.g a painting or a surface etc.). However, it is the type of lighting which it is the most forgotten, but although it helps a lot the light to spread out at areas where the ambient lighting does not reach.
Accent lighting examples are:
- Candle light
- Picture light
